Why this program matters to me
Every day, someone in our community wakes up before dawn to protect our streets. A teacher spends their own money on classroom supplies. A nurse works a double shift to care for a stranger. A soldier misses another birthday far from home.
This isn't a marketing angle. It's personal. I'm the daughter of a teacher, a veteran, and a retired law enforcement officer, and I'm married to a veteran. I've seen the missed holidays, the long hours, and the weight that never really leaves.
That's why I created the Hometown Heroes Program.
